At Freedom Health Connect, we believe that every individual has the right to access the healthcare that best serves their needs—free from government overreach and unnecessary restrictions. That’s why we proudly support HB 533 and SB 470, recently filed in the Florida Legislature, which would reinstate licensing for Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) and make naturopathy legal in Florida once again.
For over six decades, Florida has denied licensure to Naturopathic Doctors, forcing highly trained professionals either to leave the state or work without legal recognition. This outdated restriction has limited patient choice and blocked access to root-cause, holistic healthcare for millions of Floridians. It’s time to change that.
Why This Matters
At Freedom Health Connect, we believe in putting patients first and empowering people with real choices. Naturopathic medicine is science-based, preventative, and focused on treating the whole person, not just symptoms. Our healthcare system is failing too many, as chronic illness continues to rise. Floridians deserve access to a wider range of healthcare providers who emphasize lifestyle, nutrition, and natural healing.
HB 533 and SB 470 will help:
✅ Expand healthcare access by allowing qualified NDs to practice legally in Florida.
✅ Give Floridians the freedom to choose naturopathy as part of their healthcare journey.
✅ Address the growing provider gap by allowing well-trained NDs—many already licensed in other states—to serve patients here in Florida.
